Junior Yearling Heifer – Calved between January 1, 2024 and April 30, 2024
Senior Yearling Heifer – Calved between September 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

- All animals must be on the Fairgrounds by 2:00 p.m.
- Weigh in stops at 3:00 p.m. (Declared weights plus or minus 15)
- Reweigh will be done at the discretion of the show staff.

Definition of Classes
- Showmanship:
- Novice Showmanship – Under 9 years old as of Jan 1 (ribbon only)
- Junior Showmanship – 9-13 as of Jan 1
- Senior Showmanship – 14-21 as of Jan 1
- Breeding Gilts:
- December, January, February and March Classes
- Registered classes will be shown by age and crossbred classes will be shown by weight.
- Youth Market Animals:
- Breed Classes include Berkshire, Chester White, Duroc, Hampshire, Landrace, Spotted, Poland China, Yorkshire and AOB. If there are not 5 of each breed they will show in AOB. Registration papers required.
- Classes will be divided by declared weight
- All entries must be KUIP tagged.

Definition of Sheep Classes
SHOWMANSHIP – All ages as of January 1, 2025.
1.Novice –Under 9 – ribbon only.
- 9-11 years of age as of January 1st
- 12-13 years of age as of January 1st
- 14-16 years as of January 1st
- Above 17 as of January 1st
Youth Market Animals-
All animals will be shown by weight. More than 5 will have a breed class.
Youth Breeding Animals
Registered Ewes will be shown by breed (those with less than 5 will be shown AOB) in the following classes:
Yearling: Under 2 years of age and born before August 31, 2024
Fall: September 1, 2024-December 31, 2024
January: January 1, 2025-January 31, 2025
February: February 1, 2025 -February 28, 2025
March: March 1, 2025 and after
COMMERCIAL EWES WILL BE SHOWN BY WEIGHT

3. Animals cannot be shown in both breed class and market class.

Definition of Goat Classes
SHOWMANSHIP – All ages as of January 1, 2025.
Pee Wee – under 6 years of age, may be accompanied by an adult – ribbon only.
Novice – 6-8 years of age – ribbon only.
Premiums for Junior and Senior Division: $10-$7-$5-$3
Junior – 9-13 years of age as of January 1st
Senior – 14-19 years of age as of January 1st
DAIRY GOAT SHOW
Division A: Alpine, Nubian, Recorded Grade, and Toggenburg (division may be changed due to class size)
Division B: AOP, Lamancha, Nigerian Dwarf, and Saanen (division may be changed due to class size)
MARKET SHOW (YOUTH ONLY) – All breeds; weigh in by 3:30 pm on show day.
